User Interface/User Experience: Video player concept with real-time commenting

This is a concept I did for a video player that would mimic Soundcloud's real-time commenting feature. Upon hover, the video would pause, gray out, and spring a popup in which a logged-in user could view time-stamped comments as well as leave a comment.
